Tournament off to a great start on Day 1
The Doug Perkes Memorial
Tournament is in full swing with all teams having played 2 of their 4 Preliminary Round games on Friday - a day that saw 11 games played.
Today saw the usual variety in games with several high scoring games as well as lower scoring contests. All 11 teams had a couple team photos taken in their dressing rooms after their first game (photos available by clicking here).
All scores and standings from the first day are available by clicking here. As a reminder, during the Preliminary Round teams score 2 points for a period win, 1 point for a period tie, 4 points for winning the game and 2 points for a tied game with a maximum of 10 points available to be distributed between the 2 teams for each game.
