The "B" Championship was between the Lambton Shores Predators and the Midland Centennials.
This was a low scoring game with a lone goal deciding the contest. It wasn't without numerous good scoring chances though as both goalies came up with some fantastic saves.
The first period saw the teams take the measure of each other as this was their first time meeting in the tournament. There was a single penalty in the period - a hooking penalty taken by the Centennials.
The Centennials scored early in the 2nd period and then took two penalties throughout the remainder of the period that the Predators were unable to score on.
The Centennials took their 1-0 lead into the 3rd. The Predators took an early penalty but were able to kill it off. The Predators pressed throughout the remainder of the period and even took a timeout with 14 seconds left and the face-off in the Centennials end to draw up a final play but couldn't get the equalizer.
When the final buzzer went, the Midland Centennials had won 1-0 to secure the "B" Championship.
