Mid Huron Minor Hockey and the Huron Heat will be sharing a Day at the Races on Sunday, July 16, 2023. All proceeds from this day will be split 50/50 among both hockey organizations. To make this event run smoothly we do need some parent and player support. Older players looking for volunteer hours, this is a great way to get a few hours in! Areas we need husky support:
Pre event
During the event
- Selling 50/50 tickets
- Monitoring the silent auction area
- BBQing & selling BBQ items
- Various tasks as needed
During the event volunteering – if we have enough support, we will assign hour long slots to each volunteer so that 1 person isn’t overwhelmed the entire afternoon. Volunteer hours will run from approximately 12-5 pm, races will begin at 1:30.
