Volunteer Of the Year
2025 - Jeff McGregor
The Mid Huron Minor Hockey Volunteer of the Year award was donated by Durand Heating and Cooling in 2011. This award is presented annually in the memory of all the great Volunteers that BCH and its Hockey Community have lost over the years. To be eligible for this award you must have volunteered your time in the past year for the betterment of Mid Huron Minor Hockey and the Youth who play our great game!

U13: The Joey Deputter Award
2025 - Hayden Rathwell
The Joey Deputter award was created in memory of Joey DePutter (1990-2002) who's love of the game and dedication to hockey was obvious to his coaches, teammates, and opponents alike. Joey received MVP awards multiple times over his hockey career. This award is presented annually to a player from the PeeWee Team. You will only be chosen for this award if you consistently give your all to the game and maintain a positive attitude toward your team, coaches and your opponents.

U11: The Mac Attack Award
2025 - Hunter Ingram
The Mac Attack award is presented annually in the Memory of Michael McIntyre. The award is presented to an Atom player who is a smaller player, but who plays a feisty style of game and has a ton of passion for the game of hockey, as this is how Michael played the game. The award is not necessarily for the best player, but for the player who shows the most drive and passion for the game.

U11, U13, U15 & U18: Richard "Red Dog" Welch Memorial Award for Most Congenial Goalie
2025 - Colby Smale
This award is presented in the Memory of Richard "Red Dog" Welch. The award and the plaque has been donated on behalf of his friends and family and was first presented in the 1986/1987 season. The Mid-Huron Minor Hockey goalie who wins this award must have demonstrated a love for the position and the leadership skills required to be behind his/her teammates in all types of situations and be that last line of defense. The winner will have the attributes of being congenial, dedicated, skillful

U11, U13, U15 & U18: Optimist Local League Dedication Award
2025 - Hunter Hart
The Optimist Dedication award was donated by the Clinton Optimists in 2014 to a Local League player who is an overall positive influence on their teammates and leads by example. To be eligible for this award, the local league player must be considered to be the most dedicated to their team. The player would show this by being the best teammate possible, showing leadership by being one of the hardest, most consistent workers, by listening to their coaches, working hard in games and practices

Paul Nurse Memorial Award
2025 - Will Bruinsma
The Paul Nurse Memorial Award is given to the player that inspires those around them and brings a positive mindset to the game. This player comes to both games and practices ready to inspire and bring the most out of those around them.
