The D Championship saw the Mount Forest Rams and Georgian Shores Lightning square off.
The Lightning got off to a good start by opening the scoring with a goal at the midway point of the first period. The Rams had a flurry of goals (3), all within 2 minutes, early in the second period: 2 rebound goals and a third off the net front scramble. The Rams added a fourth goal (shorthanded) late in the third period to seal the 4-1 win and claim the D Championship.
