Tournament off to a great start on Day 1
The Doug Perkes Memorial Tournament is in full swing with all teams having played 2 of their 3 preliminary games on Friday - a day that saw 14 games played.
Friday saw the usual variety in games with several high scoring games, some lower scoring contests, and a single tie. All scores and standings from the first day are available by clicking here for standings and clicking here for the schedule. As a reminder, during the preliminary teams score 2 points for a period win, 1 point for a period tie, 4 points for winning the game and 2 points for a tied game for a total of 10 points distributed between the 2 teams.
Best of luck to all teams as they finish the preliminary round on Saturday. Saturday will also see the "D" Championship game as well the semi-final games for the "B" and "C".
