The "B" Championship saw the North Middlesex Stars facing off against the Wingham Ironmen Yellow.
It was a scoreless first period with a Stars tripping penalty in the final minute.
After a successful penalty kill at the start of the second period, the Stars got rolling with a goal about a third of the way into the period and then followed it up with another goal in the final third to take a 2-0 lead.
The third period started with another Stars penalty (another tripping penalty). The Ironmen received their own penalty (hooking) just over halfway through the third. The Stars scored on their power play to make it 3-0. With just under 5 minutes to go, the Stars took an interference penalty. The Ironmen pulled their goalie for the extra attacker and, although the didn't score on the power play, kept their goalie out and piled on the pressure to get the needed goals to close the gap. The Stars withstood the pressure and claimed the "B" Championship.
